Over the past few months, Fictionfield has been slightly neglected due to moving, working on the house, and getting ready for graduate school.  Now that we’re starting to get settled in, although still plenty to do, I am getting the next release ready.  I am also looking to have the website and online store design changed up.  I have high hopes that the next shirts will turn out even better than the last.  I am aiming for some more wearable and timeless designs.  I already mentioned it, but I am getting ready to start work on my MBA next week.  I am sure this will be a tough two-year journey with working an hour away from where I’ll attend school.  I am going to do my best to keep Fictionfield rolling and to continue to build it even bigger.  I am not seeking out retailers, however I was just offered another opportunity for a store to carry Fictionfield from a friend of mine.  I want to keep Fictionfield small in the sense of exclusivity, however I am a firm believer in always supporting your friends, so I am very excited for this opportunity.  Thank you to everyone who has shown support, I greatly appreciate it.  If you haven’t yet, please check out the store and follow along on twitter, facebook, or on instagram: fictionfield.

Lately, I’ve been trying to write up a loose blueprint of my vision for Fictionfield.  This blueprint is also going to, hopefully, help me keep a solid release track.  After the first four designs are released, I plan on coming right back with two more shirts.  As for the shirts, above all I want them to be well designed and thought out.  I want consistency in the themes of the designs, but not always style.  I want to mix it up every once in awhile.  This is not to say that there will ever be a neon colored Fictionfield shirt, because there won’t be.  Though, you may see a shirt featuring a photograph taken by me.  I have a few fundamental elements that I hope to convey as well or promote in some way.  The main one being self education.  I also have some hopes for collaborative efforts with artists and brands I respect.
Now, I don’t mean to be getting ahead of myself as I have not even released a shirt yet.  However, I am doing this for myself.  I am a person with a lot of ideas and wants to get them out of my head onto something tangible.  I don’t see any of that going away anytime soon, therefore I don’t see Fictionfield going away anytime soon.  I hope some of you will follow along and take part in the building of Fictionfield.
